Candyland’s rise to fame wasn’t always a walk through the Candy Cane Forest. Joise and Ethan of Candyland have been hard at work trading the Gumdrop Mountain and Licorice Castle association for one of big sound and gap bridging beats.
Candyland first found their way into our hearts back in April of 2012 after winning back to back Beatport remix contests for Skrillex’s “Make it Dun Dem” & Bingo Players’ “Rattle.” They win over crowds from coast to coast with high-energy sets that blend house, trap and dubstep.
Previously gripping the Lucky 2014 crowd, Candyland’s return to Seattle is long overdue. Their vivacious dub elements and big room sized wobbles are sure to light up the club like never before. Yet Candyland’s most enticing talent is their ability to turn your favorite songs from when you were younger and transform them into new memories.
